#1 I like J.J. because he is a nice friend and he is trying to git Andy out of trouble because everybody is telling him to stop. my least favorite character is Ms..Minna because she act nice but then she gets all mean.
#2 The person I like the most is Andy because he never gives up like when his friend J.J. said how are you going to do it nobody going to tell you about Coley Joe. The person that I don't like is J.J's great Minnie and Andy's great-aunt Winnie because they wouldn't tell Andy about Coley Joe because it would cause trouble, I don't no what trouble and I really want to no.

She was telling them some history about Texas and then when Andy and J.J. asked questions about Coley Joe, she told them to not get involved in a mean way.

#1 Andy and J.J. got a history assignment to interview their grandma or an older person to find out what happened in their lifetime. They interviewed Andy's great-aunt, Miss Winnie. They found out about a person named Coley Joe by finding a bible that Ms. Winnie had in a chest in the attic. Coley Joe is one of Andy's relatives from his Mom's side who no one will talk about because he later finds out that they think he stole their family money and there was proof. Then they went to the graveyard to see if they can find any ancestors there and they found Coley Joe's father's grave stone which had a snake head symbol on it. They talked with the caretaker of the graveyard and he claimed he could "talk to the dead" and told the boys a hint to find out what the symbol means. The hint was William Shakespeare.
#2 Andy and J.J. got an assignment to interview there older siblings about when they were a kid and there lifetime. So they interviewed Miz Minnie and Miss Winnie then they went to the attic and found a bible with names in it and there was one that was crossed out and it said Coley Joe. Coley joe is one of Andy's ancestors and no one will say a word about him because they think he stole the family money and they have proof but andy thinks there not right about that. then they went to the graveyard to see if they could find any ancestors, and they found Coley Joe's dad and it had a snake head on it. then they ran into a caretaker and he said he cud talk to the died and he said heres a hint William shakespeare.

#1 I would say that it reminds me of Return to Gone-Away by Elizabeth Enright because in the book the characters unravel secrets to find a safe and in the Search for the Shadowman the characters are trying to unravel secrets about who Coley Joe is and if he stole the family money. In both books there are two main characters that work together to solve the problem and the characters both live in wealthy homes.
#2 I don't really have a movie or anything it reminds me about but the one thing it does remind me about is texas because there talking about cowboys and bandits and robbers.
